I’m not just a clinical psychologist who has read about perimenopause. I lived it. I know what it feels like.

I am a clinical psychologist with 25 years of experience. I have sat with women in crisis, in confusion, in grief. I have watched brilliant, capable women shrink themselves because they thought something was fundamentally wrong with them.

And I have lived this myself.
I know the sleepless nights, the brain fog, the overthinking. Waking up at 3am, heart racing, with no explanation. Losing my train of thought mid-sentence. The exhaustion that is bone-deep. I knew something was happening — and I couldn't find a space that could hold all of it at once.

When my own perimenopause began — earlier than I ever expected — I had no roadmap. I searched. I Googled at midnight. I went from appointment to appointment, and I was told, again and again: "Everything looks normal." That is the moment that feels the most helpless. When you know something is wrong — and someone with authority tells you that you are fine.

Whether you’re on HRT, considering it, or choosing a different route entirely, In Her Body gives you a deeper understanding of what is happening in your body, why, and what options exist beyond any single solution. HRT is one tool. This course gives you the full picture and the space to ask all the questions you may have as a woman in midlife.

    Yes — and you may be exactly who this course is for. Perimenopause can begin in your mid-30s, often quietly and without a clear diagnosis. If something has shifted in your body, your mood, your sleep, your sense of self and you’re looking for answers, this course will give them to you. You don’t need a confirmed diagnosis to benefit. You just need to be paying attention to your body, which it sounds like you already are.

    If something has shifted, this is your space to understand it.

    Yes. In Her Body program is open to women anywhere in the world. All sessions are held on Zoom. The live sessions run every Monday from 22nd June 2026 from 6:30–9pm UK time (BST). If you’re joining from a different time zone, we recommend checking what that translates to locally before booking. Also the recorded sessions mean you’ll never miss the content even if a live attendance may be a stretch.

    Wherever you are, you're welcome here.

    The live session each Monday is 2.5 hours. Beyond that, there are journaling exercises and reflection prompts in your course handout. These are designed to be light and genuinely useful, not homework for homework’s sake. Most women find 30 to 60 minutes of personal reflection per week feels right, but this is entirely your own pace. There is no performance required. And it will be totally up to you to decide which or how many recommended practices you decide to implement.

    My goal is not to replace your doctor. My goal is to make sure you never walk into a medical appointment feeling lost, dismissed, or unprepared again. I cannot prescribe HRT but I can make sure you will be able to make an informed choice if you decide to take that route. Also your doctor will not be the right person to discuss your changing emotional needs, societal roles or any questions about the spiritual side of this transition.  

    A GP appointment often lasts only ten minutes and ends up with a “quick fix” prescription. A specialist may give you more treatment recommendations, but will not be e.g. discussing the emotional impact sleepless nights have on your relationship dynamics. What many women never receive is a clear, joined understanding of what is actually happening in their body, mind, and emotional life during perimenopause.and enough space to process the information without time pressure.

    In Her Body programme is designed to give you that space and understanding. It explains the science behind the changes you are experiencing and introduces you to the full range of options that exist, including tests, treatments, hormonal and non-hormonal approaches. The intention is not to overwhelm you, but to help you understand what choices are available so you can decide what feels right for you. 

    Through the programme, you learn how to advocate for yourself. You learn how to walk into your next appointment informed, prepared, and confident enough to ask the questions that matter.

    Most importantly, you begin to see that what you are feeling is real. It is not in your head. Your experience deserves to be understood. And the time we spend together every week and the connections you make on the course give you a sense you are not alone in this journey and that your experiences are commonly shared.

    This stage of life can feel confusing and isolating, but it is also a moment of transition. A moment to ask new questions about who you are becoming and what you want the next chapter of your life to look like.

    And when the people around you begin to understand what you are going through, you no longer have to carry this experience alone.

    This is a completely understandable question. When you join the programme, you are entering a supportive space where you can explore your experience at your own pace. There is no pressure to perform or to have everything figured out.

    I designed In Her Body for women who are curious, open, and willing to explore both the science of perimenopause and their own personal experience. Everyone arrives with different questions and different needs, and there is no “right” way to participate.

    If after the first session you feel that the programme is not what you expected, please reach out to me directly. While places are non-refundable due to the small group nature of the programme, I always want participants to feel supported, and we can talk about the best way forward together.

    ABOUT YOUR GUIDE & FACILITATOR

    I am a Clinical Psychologist, Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, Functional Medicine Practitioner, and Mindfulness Teacher. I am also a Soul Body Fusion® Practitioner, Ecstatic Dance Facilitator, and trained in Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Positive Psychology, Neuropsychology, and Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy. My approach draws on 25 years of clinical practice and 15 years of my own lived experience navigating hormonal changes of midlife — which is why every part of this course exists for a reason.

    This is not a course I built from the outside. I built it because I needed it too.

I work across three dimensions: body, mind, and soul because perimenopause is not just a hormonal event. It is a psychological and identity transition too. Drawing on clinical psychology, functional medicine, mindfulness, somatic practice and spiritual perspectives, I help women not just understand their symptoms but see this chapter as a profound opportunity: a life upgrade, a preparation for becoming a wiser, more grounded and more authentic version of themselves. This is not about surviving perimenopause. It is about moving through it with genuine power.
